5.6 describe a simple experiment to investigate carbon dioxide production by yeast, in different conditions

 5.6 
      •1. mix sugar, yeast and water in a test tube 
      •2. attach a bung with a tube leading to a second test tube of water 
      •3. place the test tube containing the yeast mixture in a water bath at a certain temperature 


      •1. leave the tube and count the bubbles in a given time 
      •2. repeat the experiment at different temperatures - as it increases the bubbles increase 
                •you could vary the sugar concentration or measure the volume of gas produced instead
