•osmoregulation in kidneys: •water is lost through sweating, breathing and peeing
•the body has to constantly balance the water coming in and out - osmoregulation
•adjusted by the amount excreted as urine i.e if a person loses lots of water, then the kidneys will reabsorb more, so less is lost as urine, balancing it
