2.58 •excretion in kidneys: •removal of urea from the blood. Urea is produced in the liver from excess amino acids

                                           •adjustment of salt levels in the blood

                                           •adjustment of water content in the blood 

        

         •osmoregulation in kidneys: •water is lost through sweating, breathing and peeing  

                                                      •the body has to constantly balance the water coming in and out - osmoregulation

                                                      •adjusted by the amount excreted as urine i.e if a person loses lots of water, then the kidneys will reabsorb more, so less is lost as urine, balancing it
